Maraming salamat to our Navy Color Guard and our first responder participants Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office Deputy Rammil Embile, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire and Emergency Services Firefighter Albert A. Culanding III, HM3 Brady and FALEOAVA member and Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office Captain Alvie A. Culanding.

Although the weather was damp and a bit cool, Filipino pride was high and on full display from entertainment, education and food!  A special thank you to all that coordinated and participated in this important event.

The Norfolk Tides (aka the Norfolk Lumpia for Filipino American Heritage Day) tied a franchise record for runs in an inning, scoring 11 in the 6th, luck of the lumpia!
